How to measure your dog

It is important to take correct measurements of your dog to determine the right size of an item of clothing or an accessory.

We recommend following the advice given below on taking your dog’s measurements.
For greater convenience measurements should be taken using a tape measure.

The length of the back (1)

To correctly measure the length of the back, your dog must stand up straight on all four legs.
Place the tape measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the start of the tail.

Measure the size of the neck where the collar is placed.
Be careful not to over-tighten the tape measure. Make sure to leave space for a finger between the neck and the tape measure.

Measure the widest part of the thorax, just behind the two forelegs.
Be careful not to over-tighten the tape measure. Make sure to leave space for a finger between the chest and the tape measure.

The values indicated correspond to the different sizes of our products.
