The seeds of creativity

How it all started

Pollux & Pénélope came about due to the need to protect small dogs, which are the most vulnerable, from cold weather and humidity.

When out on their daily walks, our little friends are in fact very close to the pavement, and when the weather is cold and wet, they start to feel the cold through their tummy.
I have witnessed this myself with Rio, my adorable ‘Schtockel’, a Schnauzer and Teckel crossbreed that regularly accompanies me on strolls through the streets of Paris.

I never imagined I would own a dog, much less that I would have to provide it with clothing. And yet...

After several appointments at the vet and a few convincing chats there with other owners of small dogs, I decided to create what I could not find in shops: chic, simple, high-quality coats and sweaters to cover and not disguise our little pets.

The concept

A Lifestyme "Master and Pup".

For him : a stylish wardrobe of hand-knitted sweaters, carefully fashioned coats, and leather accessories, all produced with “Made in France” know-how and quality.

For you : wool and leather accessories.

The hand-knitted sweaters are made with noble, natural wool (cashmere, merino) from French mills.

Our team of knitters provides their traditional know-how, and each model they make reflects their passion for knitting.

The overcoats are carefully crafted by couturieres using fabrics selected for their elegance and practicality.

The Master and Pup leather accessories collection is made in an atelier by Les Compagnons du Devoir * in the purest tradition of master craftsmen.

The leather is selected based on its tanning with vegetable matter. Vegetable-tanned leather is more respectful of the environment and bears no risk of causing allergies.

Pollux & Pénélope makes every effort to highlight handmade quality coupled with the designer look Isabelle Bonnet has developed on inspiration from her muse Rio!
